Finished up another bat house today - 24” tall by 13.5” wide, made of cedar, with a mounted hex sign for good luck. This single chamber unit should house up to approximately 2 dozen bats. Bat houses should be mounted 12 feet or higher, facing direction of most sun, and free of obstructions beneath as to allow easy entry & exit of bats.

New bat house in the works... The back wall on the inside is scored with all those lines so the bats have a place for their little claws to hang onto. This one will have the natural cedar look with a hex sign attached to the front for good luck. Bats, and all Nature in general, could use some good luck. #goodlucknature
