"Peep Show" is a free standing inner-lit structure, 7 feet tall x 8 feet wide x 3 feet deep.
I designed & constructed this piece for the curatorial project, Ugly Art Room, as part of Bring to Light NYC 2011.
Below the illuminated "Peep" are 7 viewmasters (stereoscopic viewers) which are mounted permanently to the face of the structure.
Each viewer contains 7 images from an individual artist to be viewed as a miniature exhibit within the installation piece.
"Opening Rejection" is a portable, miniature gallery. The 6 foot x 6 foot x 6 foot white cube was designed & built for Ugly Art Room
as an installation piece for Williamsburg Walks, 2011.
Within the awkwardly-sized room, 34 small works (5" x 5") were displayed by 17 artists.
Again, the installation piece was an artwork that served as a viewing platform for other artworks.
The "Moustache Bar" was constructed for my solo show by the same name at Stupid Easy in Philadelphia, August, 2010.
This replica of a basement pad circa 1974 (my year of birth) was complete with full-functioning bar, 8-track player, pinball machine,
and a stack of vintage Playboy magazines.
